Until Christmas Comes Again 11/23/2013
As a small child she would stand before me, arms spread apart to their limits, offering
her best and most appreciated gift; "Daddy, I love you T-h-i-s M-u-c-h!"
And she would throw herself into my arms plastering me with noisy, little-girl kisses.
As time moved on her expressions of affection
became more sophisticated--expressions created
and marketed by Madison Avenue, designed for
the person too busy to be original. . .
But my little girl never forgot my day. And as it approaches once again, she readies herself for the affection I must remember for 364 days, until Christmas comes again.
Luke 22:19 KJV
And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.
