Chewing the Cud

Studying the word, meditating on it as God directed Joshua

Keeping the Word in our mouths Psalms 119, speaking only what God has declared

Sailing it through my mind for application, allowing the word to clarify itself and change my thinking

With my increasing maturity in Your Word1 I will glean more, then more again, then more again, and again more

It is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path, It leadeth me

I shall be instructed by knowledge of Your Word

I have read and I have heard Your Word, and I know there is more

Thy word is good. I will chew it and obtain my health, and again I will chew it and obtain my prosperity, and again I will chew it and obtain my all that You have provided

It leads me and guides me as I live unencumbered

1 as I meditate on Your Word

Joshua 1:8 (KJV) This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

Psalms 119:105 (KJV) NUN. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
