7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.

As I Understand It – Who, What, Why, Where, When, How?

Who – Jesus, the word of God, John 1:1-2. And the hope of mankind, Colossians 1:27.


What – The Bible, a book written to introduce mankind to Jesus.


Why – To save mankind from the sin of the world ruled by Satan. 2 Corinthians 4:4


Where & When – Throughout the world, wherever and whenever He is received, Acts 10:34-43


How – By forgiving their sins. 2 Corinthians 5:19


John 1:1-3 (KJV) 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.


God breathed the 39 books of the Old Covenant and the 27 books of the New Covenant that make up the Bible into 40 different writers over a period of approximately 1600 years.


2 Corinthians 4:4 (KJV) In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.


Acts 10:34-39 (KJV) 34Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: 35But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him. 36The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all:) 37That word, I say, ye know, which was published throughout all Judaea, and began from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached; 38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. 39 And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree:


2 Corinthians 5:19 (KJV) To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
