As I understand It – 1 John 1:7 (NIV)

7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.

CONSTANT GOD – Speak or forever hold your peace

February 8, 2013

For so long, he had read and believed. He had accepted what was taught. He was faithful in his giving and service to his local church. And yet he had not experienced the abundance, or perfect health promised. All of his needs were not met!

All that was told to him he did. And his pastor promised him that his prayers would be answered; God loved him and sent His Son to die for him.

He knew it was true; not only was it told him, but he had also actually gone to the Bible and read it. He had confirmed it. But in my personal experience, nothing! He had no peace.

Still, he would not give up; he could not give up; he had nothing else! So once more, he would meditate on the Word and read it and study it. He would do all he saw. He would attack it anew as he had never read it before. With renewed fervor, he would finally grasp that one kernel of truth that kept escaping him, and he would have what he had sought for so long.

And as he immersed himself in the day’s study, he heard Him from within, “Speak now or forever hold your peace!” And so, he began:

“In the name of Jesus My God who has set me high above all the nations on Earth; blessings shall come upon me and mine and overtake us because we obey the voice of the Lord my God; we are blessed in the city and blessed in the country.

I am healed, from the top of my head to the tip of my toes. There is no infirmity in me! I am blessed by God! I am prosperous.

All my needs are met. There is no lack in my home. I am able to give to worthy causes and participate in any ministry of my choosing. I have to give! God has blessed me!

I am victorious in all things. I succeed in all I set out to do. God has empowered me to succeed in all things. I am the head and not the tail.

My household is protected. My family is healthy with no infirmities. The family lives in peace and prosperity. They also meditate on the Word of God and receive His blessings.

And by the name of Jesus Christ, we shall not turn aside from anything that He has commanded. No government, no demon, and no power on Earth can stop the plan of God in our lives as long we live according to God s plan. And we shall never turn aside from His Word in which He has commanded.”

And then he began a repeat of all he had said, in no particular order but as it came to him. And he began to add specifics as he emboldened himself. And he danced, as David did. And he was happy and successful and healed and victorious and prosperous, and he had peace.

Deuteronomy 28:1-14 (KJV) 1 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: 2 And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God. . . .

13 And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them: 14 And thou shalt not go aside from any of the words which I command thee this day, to the right hand, or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them

Joshua 1:8 (KJV) 8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

2 Samuel 6:13-14 (KJV) 13 And it was so, that when they that bare the ark of the LORD had gone six paces, he sacrificed oxen and fatlings.14 And David danced before the LORD with all his might; and David was girded with a linen ephod
